Scope and status
This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a target, not a certification: the site has not had an independent accessibility audit.
The statement covers the public website. It was last reviewed on October 17, 2026. The limits below are the parts that still need work.
What is in place
- Keyboard: a skip link is the first tab stop and jumps to the main content. Links, buttons, form fields, and dialogs are reachable and operable by keyboard, and dialogs return focus to the control that opened them.
- Focus: a visible focus ring is defined for light and dark surfaces, including the footer, modal controls, and product cards.
- Forms: contact and booking fields use visible labels. Errors render in a
role="alert"message rather than colour alone. - Motion: the site honours
prefers-reduced-motion. The intro curtain, reveals and parallax resolve to static frames when that preference is set. - Targets: primary buttons and icon controls meet a 44px minimum. Links inside running prose follow the WCAG 2.5.8 inline exception.
- Images and structure: pages carry landmarks, a single h1, ordered headings, and alt text for content images. Decorative background and monogram layers are hidden from assistive technology.
Motion preference
The site always follows your system's prefers-reduced-motion setting. If you would rather decide here instead, this switch turns the site's motion (reveals, parallax, the marquee, film autoplay) off or back on for this browser. It sits on this statement, not in the footer: it is an accessibility preference, and this is where it belongs.
Known limits
- Instagram posts and reels load from Meta. Their captions, playback controls, and keyboard behaviour belong to that embed; the site does not control them.
- Booking runs on an embedded calendar: the booking page carries the Cal.com scheduler inline, and your booking is confirmed by the calendar as soon as you pick a time. The calendar's own controls and keyboard behaviour are Cal.com's; the site does not control them. Text, Call and Email sit under the calendar for anyone who prefers to talk first: they open your messages, dialer or mail app with the note already written, and the site owns the page that prepares the note, not the app that sends it.
- A piece modal studies a piece through Mac's photography alone: the films of a piece live on the reels page, not in the modal. Inactive gallery frames are hidden from assistive technology; the active frame's photography and the written details carry the information.
- The site is a small, continuously edited client site. Source and build checks run before deploy, but a full browser and screen-reader sweep is periodic, not continuous.
- No independent accessibility audit or certification has been completed. This statement is a self-assessment.
Report a barrier
If something blocks you, email mac.madden@louisvuitton.com or call (854) 274-8282. Include the page, what you were trying to do, and the technology you use (for example VoiceOver on iPhone, NVDA on Windows, keyboard only, or voice control).
You can also use the contact form. Accessibility reports get priority.
